I offer high-quality editing and indexing services at reasonable rates to all clients, with a 5% discount for independent scholars, first-time, self-published authors, and non-profit advocacy organizations. I may be available for rush jobs for a small additional fee.

Rates, Speed, and Accuracy:
Indexing rates are $0.018 per word (around $1800 for a standard 100,000-word book with 285 indexable pages); embedded indexing rates are higher, $0.028 per word (counting only indexable pages).
Editing rates are tailored to the needs of your particular project, ranging from $45 to $60 per hour, or $0.035 to $0.05 per word, depending on the type and complexity of the document and the degree of editing that it requires (for example, mechanical, substantive, or developmental editing).
